Vice President, Programs | California Community Foundation

Nike Irvin provides strategic leadership in priority program areas for the community foundation such as arts, education, health care, housing and neighborhoods, and human development, as well as special initiatives which include the Critical Needs Fund and the El Monte Community Building Initiative

Before joining CCF, Irvin served as president of the Riordan Foundation for seven years and as a consultant and coach for nonprofits and foundations. She also has more than 20 years of experience in both nonprofit leadership and consulting to numerous nonprofit organizations, foundations and charitable arms of for-profit companies and organizations

Irvin serves on several boards of directors and is a trustee for regional and national organizations such as The Riordan Foundation and German Marshall Fund of the United States. Irvin is a graduate of Yale University and was also named one of the “100 Most Inspirational Alumni” by the UCLA Anderson School of Business, where she is an active alumna volunteer. She is also a recipient of numerous fellowships, including the Henry Crown Fellowship, Marshall Memorial Fellowship and Next Generation Fellowship of the American Assembly.
