I’m a bit of a Net Impact poster child. I grew up in a tree-hugger family and when I went off to college to study business, I faced some skepticism that I would make a positive impact with my career. I spent several years in Corporate America where I learned a ton (and even started a Green Team along the way!) before I landed at Net Impact where I feel so fortunate to work on a cause I am truly passionate about – business can be part of the solution! And our amazing network will help create these solutions!

I love that a big part of my role on the Development Team is telling corporations about Net Impact’s inspiring mission and explaining why they should take part. My excitement for our mission makes my job fun and fulfilling. Managing our Impact at Work program, I appreciate that I get to work with people who used to be like me – professionals with a title that doesn’t include CSR, but yet they want to work on projects that they feel make their business more sustainable.  I love helping our members kickstart projects in the workplace that result in positive change.
