I'm responsible for orchestrating our flagship event, the annual Net Impact Conference.
We work year-round to generate creative ideas and implement cutting-edge strategies to each year build a conference more sustainable, beneficial, and inspiring than the last. What do I look forward to most? Being energized by the 3,000 passionate individuals who have joined together to dedicate three days, and for many, the rest of their lives to using their careers for good.
I am generally seen around the office buried elbows-deep in a project – or carrying a plate of cupcakes.
When I need to relax:
I take on excessive and complex baking projects.
My most useless skill:
I am trained to assist in sheep birthing. Another useless skill: I can very quickly and efficiently gut fish.
The part of my job that keeps me heading to work each day is:
The people! From day one I was seriously hooked by the authenticity of the work hard play hard mentality that is actually true of each individual here. I remember going home after my first day of work and my being asked if I thought I would like any of my coworkers. Can I answer "all of them?"
