Jaime Hiraishi
Career Programs Manager
I'm focused on Net Impact’s career and education efforts.
Prior to joining Net Impact, I worked at the Taproot Foundation where I led efforts to promote the service ethic in professions and professional schools by identifying and overcoming barriers to the adoption of pro bono service. As a thought leader, I partnered with national organizations to make pro bono more accessible and headed evangelism efforts for Taproot Foundation.
Before Taproot, I co-founded a nonprofit organization which connects thousands of students and community leaders through volunteer service. Jaime holds degrees in Mass Communications and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
The best advice I ever got was:
Luck is no accident; it’s what happens when preparation meets opportunity (thank you, Abby Davisson!).
My most useless skill is:
I can solve a Rubik’s cube.
The part of my job that keeps me heading to work each day is:
I love what I do!
