Jessica Fleuti
Senior Manager, Conference
I lead Net Impact’s efforts to develop and deliver our annual conference: a tremendous event that brings together 2,800 students and young professionals for 100+ sessions over three days in the fall.
I coordinate our internal efforts and work with external partners to produce the world’s largest event for people who are working to make a difference through their careers.
I started my career as a Legal Investigator at the California Appellate Project, a nonprofit legal resource center dedicated to capital appeals, and came to Net Impact by way of the World Affairs Council of Northern California and the Council on Foreign Relations.
I grew up wanting to be:
In chronological order: a waitress, a marine biologist, the president.
My most useless skill is:
Cursive.
What surprises me most about my career path is:
I started out investigating murders. Now I plan the Net Impact Conference. I’m constantly surprised by how many of the skills I learned as an investigator I still use every day, even though now I’m searching for speakers, not witnesses!
