Samantha Johnston
Campus Programs Manager
I support Net Impact's Community Team in building strong local communities through the support and growth of Net Impact's chapters. Net Impact's student chapters are over 250 strong and all over the map!
Here at the central office, we advise and support our student leaders, develop the programs they deliver to members, and leverage our extensive chapter network through collaboration and best practice sharing.
I also produce Net Impact's Business as UNusual publication to show how cutting-edge grad programs in our network are preparing a new generation of business leaders.
My most useful skill is:
I always remember a name or a face. Always!
That skill has helped me:
Working with hundreds of student leaders, it helps quite a bit! Otherwise I'd need lots of flashcards.
I grew up wanting to be:
An archaeologist. The parents were not entirely supportive.
What surprises me most about my career path is:
I never thought I'd be interfacing with the business world. But somewhere along the line I came to realize exactly how you make change happen - it takes skills, and influence on the way things are done, and the ability to execute on your dreams. I see how our members do this everyday!
