Cuong Nguyen
Senior Manager, Talent & Administration
Cuong joined Net Impact in July 2011 and is primarily responsible for developing and managing Net Impact’s strategy to attract, develop, retain, and promote high-performing staff at all levels of the organization.
Before joining our team, Cuong was the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Manhattan Borough President Office where he coordinated the office's day-to-day operations, project managed major policy initiatives and assisted with strategic planning. Prior to the Borough President’s Office he worked on a variety of high priority human resources initiatives at the New York City Department of Small Business Services.
He started his career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras working with small businesses and cooperatives to formalize their business practices. He earned his undergraduate degree at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Business Administration and received a Master of Public Administration from New York University.
Cuong and his wife enjoy cooking, exploring San Francisco’s delicious restaurants, and being active outdoors in the beautiful Bay Area.
