Manager, strategic initiatives
Since joining Net Impact in May 2010, I've been extremely fortunate to have had a variety of roles and experiences that I've found to be both interesting and rewarding. After managing the networking Expo at the 2010 Net Impact Conference, I was able to expand my role to project manager for the conference at-large, managing many of the logistics for the 2011 Conference in Portland, OR.
In the beginning of 2012, I shifted roles again, this time to work with our executive director and senior staff to help implement our newly developed 10-year strategic plan. As Manager, Strategic Initiatives, I'm very excited to help Net Impact translate our high-level vision into a concrete operational plan and road map.
Prior to joining Net Impact, I worked as a program poordinator and manager for The Victoria Film Festival, the largest independent film festival on Vancouver Island, Canada. A graduate of Duke University in Durham, NC, I studied physics and math while participating in several on-campus clubs, including the varsity wrestling team.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, whitewater kayaking, mountain and road biking, hunting down gourmet food carts, and the occasional surf.
