Jeni (Lafaurie) Izuel
Chief Financial Officer
Jeni Izuel has over 13 years of financial operations and management experience, including four years at VolunteerMatch as Finance Director and CFO. Prior to joining Net Impact in 2008, Jeni was a consultant with KPMG’s Global Grants Program, advising foundations and public charities on the development and administration of their domestic and international grant making programs. She began her career as a strategy consultant with Gemini Consulting.
An active volunteer, Jeni has led projects with international NGOs including NESsT in Chile, the Amy Biehl Foundation in South Africa, and Grameen Bank in Bangladesh. She is treasurer of the board for HandsOn Bay Area (HOBA), a nonprofit organization that creates opportunities for people to volunteer, learn and lead in their communities. Prior to starting her board role with HOBA in 2008, Jeni served for three years on the board of directors of KIPP SF Bay Academy, a charter school in San Francisco. In honor of her accomplishments, Jeni was named Bay Area CFO of the Year for Community Service in 2011.
Jeni holds a B.S. in International Business from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She resides in San Francisco with her husband, Derek, and their two smiley young ones.
