As Senior Content Manager, I'm focused on developing and implementing a long-term strategy that puts useful, engaging content into the hands of our members and other stakeholders, so they have what they need to use their careers for social and environmental change. Prior to this role, I helped guide the organization's branding and communications initiatives alongside our incredible marketing team as Communications Manager.
Before joining Net Impact, I spent six years running a solo communications practice providing strategy and messaging to independently-minded organizations, and helped build the first independent online toolkit for sustainable graphic design (Re-nourish). I've recently launched Sustainable Design Labs, a nonprofit learning lab for communication designers who want to take control of their environmental and social footprint. My design and writing has appeared in numerous books, as well as print and online outlets.
I'm happy to be able to spend my days at Net Impact wrangling words and pictures in pursuit of clearer messages, while desperately trying to remind the world that double spaces after periods no longer have any place in modern type.
