Mindee Kashiwagi
Director, marketing
Mindee leads the digital and marketing efforts at Net Impact. Her career path is an example of how the dots connect looking backwards. After volunteering in Cameroon with the Peace Corps, she earned a teaching credential at the University of California, Berkeley and taught in schools in Hawaii and California. Along the way, she studied web development and spent five years building websites for nonprofits and small businesses. Most recently, Mindee spent over eight years at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. in product management and marketing. While at Schwab, she joined the leadership team of a “intrapreneurial” environmental group rekindling a spark to work on important issues and drive change—which led her to Net Impact.
Mindee holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature and French from the University of California, Davis and an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco.
