Mission: The Net Impact New Haven ("NINH") Professional Chapter is a network of Connecticut-based professionals representing a diversity of backgrounds. Our members are committed to working across sectors to support long-term environmental, social, and economic sustainability. Specifically, the NINH Chapter seeks to:
- Create opportunities for area professionals to explore what "sustainability" means in various contexts (through speaker series, tours, and other events);
- Support innovative community and economic development efforts that take into consideration the long-term impacts on the community;
- Provide a forum for area professionals to meet and network, as well as share information and develop best practices related to the management of nonprofits and socially-responsible businesses;
- Develop cross-sector alliances dedicated to supporting the community's consideration of sustainability issues; and
- Provide educational resources about social entrepreneurship, sustainability, and socially-responsible ventures.
