Kathrin Winkler

(Former) Chief Sustainability Officer

Recently retired from her role as Chief Sustainability Officer for the multinational EMC Corporation (now part of Dell Technologies), Kathrin has provided a decade of sustainability strategy and leadership to the IT industry. Known for her authentic voice, she is a frequent speaker and consultant on the integration of sustainability into corporate culture, strategy, governance, and operations. Kathrin currently serves as an Editor-at-Large for GreenBiz and on the boards of directors for the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE) and Net Impact. Kathrin is also a Climate Reality Leader, having trained in Denver in 2017, and serves as a mentor to others trained subsequently in Bellevue and Pittsburgh. In 2014, she was honored with the Anita Borg Institute Women of Vision Award for Social Impact in recognition of her contributions to innovation, leadership, and sustainability in the field of information technology.
