The best advice I have ever received was: "Whatever you do with your life, travel. You'll understand people and the world in ways you can't otherwise."

When I need to relax, I: write, sign up for a dance class, or hit the climbing gym.

What surprises me most about my career path is: how many of my passions I discovered just by volunteering to take on something different. Sometimes there's an unmet need in an organization that you're uniquely suited to fill--and it may just be exactly what you want to do with your career.
