As Communications Manager, Kristen uses her passion for storytelling to develop and implement communications strategies for Net Impact and Up to Us.
Prior to joining Net Impact, she served in research and communications roles at higher education institutions in Boston and as a marketer for an arts nonprofit. Additionally, she worked as an English educator at different universities and schools in New England, and as an editor for both a business journal and a photography magazine.
Originally from the Seacoast region of New Hampshire, she studied literature at Suffolk University in Boston and went on to receive an MFA in creative writing from the University of New Hampshire.
I grew up wanting to be: an archeologist and a painter. I still dabble in visual arts, and one day I do hope to volunteer on an excavation.
When I need to relax, I: get outside and go on very long walks or hikes, or I'll find a good seat at a coffee shop to read and write.
The last song I listened to was: Ruby Falls by Waxahatchee from the album St. Cloud.
