Project & Communications Manager

The Collective Good's Project & Communications Manager will be critical to growth in the coming years, by improving our efficiency, projections and planning, clarifying our brand and voice, and team collaboration.

The Project & Communications Manager will be responsible for managing key client projects, and for the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope. They will also develop and execute our communication plan, including identifying opportunities for thought leadership, managing social media channels, and shaping the story of our company's impact. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to nurture relationships, and finds creative ways to solve problems and support team members to achieve shared goals.

Core responsibilities:

Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and on budget.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, creating clear and realistic workplans, involving all relevant stakeholders.
Actively partner with team members to resolve issues related to project scope, time management, or budget risks.
Act as a communication lead by scheduling and leading meetings, preparing internal and external agendas, meeting notes and status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using a change management/tracking process.
Manage a communication plan that ensures we are living into our brand and telling a cohesive story about our impact.
Consistently create content that keeps our voice in relevant conversations and supports the development of new partnerships.


Demonstrated organizational skills, including roles in project management or leading programs.
Experience influencing teams and managing through challenges.
Proficient in website and social media content creation.
Excellent verbal and written, external and internal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple moving pieces, anticipate issues, and problem solve.
Approach every challenge with a can-do, creative, growth mindset.
Project management certification/coursework is a plus.
Familiarity or experience with Teamwork and Toggl are a plus.
