Up to Us Leadership Bootcamp

Level up your skills by planning a community action event, participating in a policy sprint, and being a part of a weekend-long, all-expenses-paid Leadership Bootcamp in Washington D.C. in March 2025.

The Up to Us Leadership Bootcamp will help you engage in skill-building and actionable learning related to fiscal policy and community organizing. Participants will launch their own community action engagement between January through March and convene in April for the culminating in-person event.

About the Up to Us Leadership Bootcamp

  • Are you interested in sparking discussion and action on issues you care about on your campus?
  • Do you find yourself engaging in activities on campus related to student government, social or environmental justice, the national debt and fiscal policy, or civic engagement?

  • Would you like to learn more about how the national debt, fiscal issues, and economic topics are connected to other pressing policy areas?

  • Would you like to launch your own community organizing event on your campus?

From January to April, the Up to Us Leadership Bootcamp will empower college students with the skills and knowledge needed to understand fiscal policy and community organizing. The program will focus on raising awareness of the national debt and its impact on creating a sustainable economic future for generations to come. In March, students will gather in Washington, D.C., to deepen their understanding, connect with peers, and enhance their ability to address critical fiscal and economic challenges. Participants will also receive the tools, resources, and funding necessary to organize and execute their own campus events focused on fiscal issues.
