Roman Smith is a Director-Public Affairs in the AT&T Corporate Sustainability and Philanthropy organization. His current priorities include accessibility and aging, consumer-focused engagement/products/services, diversity, supply chain, e-waste, community engagement, and the overall environmental and social enablement story around the opportunity for information and communications technologies (ICT). With over 14 years experience in telecommunications, he began his career with AT&T in 1997.  He has held positions in Finance, Enterprise Service, Wholesale, and Regulatory.

Virginia Terry
Director, Advisory Services

Virginia Terry is the Director of BSR's Advisory Services. With years of experience working with companies to integrate environmental and social goals into core business practices, Virginia is a pivotal component of BSR's Consumer Products team. Virginia advises companies in a variety of areas, including supply-chain responsibility, energy and water strategies, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining BSR, Virginia worked as a consultant for SustainAbility Inc., leading multiyear projects with Shell, Nike, and Ford, and other international corporations. As an independent consultant and with One Stone Advisors, she developed sustainability reporting strategies for companies including Kellogg, Ericsson, and Electrolux. She also has extensive experience working on New York City-based waterfront revitalization efforts.

Virginia holds an M.A. in Environment and Business from New York University's Gallatin School where she earned the Dean's Award for Community Service and was chapter president of Net Impact. She also holds a B.A. from Furman University.
