We’re excited that you’re interested in starting a Net Impact Chapter in your community!
Requirements to Start a Chapter
- Watch “Start a Chapter” informational video (to the right).
- Have at least two members on the leadership team (student chapters must also have a faculty/staff advisor). All leaders and advisor(s) will need to create accounts on netimpact.org.
- Complete a Chapter application (link below).
- After your application is approved, you will be asked to complete a Chapter affiliation agreement (this is the official agreement that establishes the relationship between Net Impact and the Chapter) and schedule an orientation call.
Chapter Expectations
Net Impact chapters must align programming and membership growth with our mission. We also require adherence to branding guidelines and annual activity reporting. Utilize chapter microsites for ease of compliance. Detailed expectations for July 2023 - June 2024 will be communicated as needed to maintain network quality and sustainability.
Building Your Leadership Team
Chapter Leaders oversee all activities with support from advisors, Net Impact Central, and schools for Student Chapters. Strong leadership is vital for event success. Practices for succession planning ensure long-term sustainability. Share new leadership updates with Net Impact Central. Together, we aim to empower and sustain effective chapters
