On December 27 of last year, the family of Mohammad El Chaar lost their 16 year old son unexpectedly in a tragic car bomb in down town Beirut- Starco Center.
The family has approached AUB to set up the “The Mohammad Hassan El Chaar Memorial Fund” to commemorate their son in hope that they will be able to turn their son’s dream into a reality. Mohammad had big dreams and one of them was joining AUB.
With this fund, we will be helping talented youth in need live Mohammad’s dream and join AUB. We also hope to help Mohammad’s family reach their goal as this might offer them some consolation. They hope to reach their goal before December 27, which is the first memorial of Mohammad El Chaar.

Objective:
The Net Impact AUB Chapter has adopted this cause and is reaching out for collecting contributions for this fund- no matter how small.
