Lecture Title: “Is My Child Lazy or Does She Have a Learning Problem?”.
NI AUB collaborated with Irshad and Islah association and Psychology Club Society to host a lecture by Dr. Ahmad Oueini with an objective of spreading awareness about learning disabilities and best practices in that field. The main aim behind this lecture was to raise collective action around this critical topic.

Dr. Ahmad Oueini is an associate professor of education with an emphasis in special education (learning disabilities) and counseling. He teaches undergraduate courses in counseling and teacher training and graduate courses in special education. Also, he is an Education Consultant and Counselor at ALPHABETE CENTER.
He holds a Post-Doctoral Re specialization from Columbia University in Special Education with Specialization in Learning Disabilities and a Doctor of Education (D.Ed.) form Columbia University in International Educational Development with specialization in Psychological Counseling.
