Maggie Miller, Founder

A day in Maggie’s life as co-Founder of Digital Union means joyously helping companies all over the globe marry profit and purpose by building social impact programs. Through these programs, leaders model what positive power a company has when it combines profit and purpose, living and giving, consumption and contribution, and leverages the might of the private sector to build conscious communities. Wherever social innovation is happening, you’ll find Maggie on the ride.

Maggie is also Founder of DiscoverHope, an international development nonprofit creating opportunities for women in developing nations to build prosperity through microcredit loans and educational training. Implementing successful microcredit concepts from well-respected microcredit institutions such as Grameen Bank, DiscoverHope was born during Maggie’s residence in the town of Cajamarca, (northern) Peru for two years amongst families in extreme poverty. Maggie formed DiscoverHope as a 501(c)(3) and served as the Executive Director of DiscoverHope for eight years.

Hector Dominguez, Founder

Creating Digital Union, Hector has the honor to bridge the most important passions in his life: technology and social impact. Hector is responsible for the successful execution of the company’s business mission through development and deployment of technology solutions that empower those who help others. This requires envisioning the company’s experience as packaged solutions that allow World Changers to focus more on their mission and less on the technology that runs their social business.

Hector is the Co-Founder of VerdTek, Inc., an Austin based Technology consulting firm, focused on providing Cloud, Security, Storage and Networking solutions to Global Fortune 500 customers and Government entities. In only 4 years of existence, VerdTek, Inc. has grown exponentially from being a direct provider of Technology Services to forming and leading Professional Services divisions for many major Software manufacturers and distributors.

Hector also pioneered a social impact strategy for the company, GenerationTek that has created resounding stakeholder activation in the tech industry.Hector’s experience with leading high performing consulting teams globally are the result of spending 10 years at IBM Tivoli managing teams in Latin America and the Americas.

Digital Union works with companies to strategize and implement social impact programs. Essentially, social impact businesses fuse the idea of profit meets purpose—building the bottom line and a better world at the same time.
