About us

Welcome to the SOCIAL IMPACT CLUB at the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Our club exists to explore and develop educational and career path opportunities for students and alumni from the suite of post-graduate programs at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM).

The club committee of full-time MBA students brings together a blend of students from all parts of the world. We firmly believe Social Impact can not be achieved alone individually, and we embrace an integrated, collaborative team environment to achieve tangible impact.

Our club's focus lies in seven key areas of social impact:
* Youth and Education
* Health and Wellness
* Women and Girls for Leadership
* Social Finance
* Corporate Social Responsibility
* Volunteering and Fundraising
* Environmental and Green Initiatives

In 2015, the AGSM will introduce a world first Social Impact MBAx, a specialised MBA delivered in real time allowing students to deepen their knowledge from a unique combination of innovative specialist subjects from the AGSM and affiiate partner, the Centre for Social Impact.

We work with students, faculty, fellow AGSM student clubs, program administration, alumni and companies to develop and promote opportunities for the integration of social values within business education and careers. We welcome collaboration with Social Impact organisations both within Australia and around the World.

AGSM Social Impact and UNSW Business School acknowledge the Bidjigal (Kensington campus), Gadigal (Sydney City campus) and Kulin Nation (Melbourne City campus) as the traditional custodians of the lands of these campuses. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, past and present and their communities who have shared and practised their teachings over thousands of years including business practices.

We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s ongoing leadership and contributions, including to business, education and industry.
