Net Impact presents a Lunch and Learn with Michelle “Mitch” Hedlund on Feb. 16 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Best Buy Corporate Campus. Mitch is founder and executive director of Recycle Across America, a nonprofit dedicated to simplifying the act of recycling for the general public to help them recycle more and recycle right.

This inspiring female leader will not only share her thoughts on recycling, but also give behind-the-scenes accounts of the nonprofit’s celebrity PSA campaign which includes the likes of Kristen Bell, Angie Harmon and Peter Facinelli.

Recycle Across America has been utilized by some of the most notable organizations in the world (including Best Buy!) to introduce, promote and develop standardized labels for recycling bins. This solution has been referred to by The New York Times as "one of the most important environmental fixes taking root today."
