In June 2014, Net Impact Bristol launched, becoming the second UK professional chapter of the global network. The key aim of the chapter is to create networking opportunities for Bristol-based professionals interested in sustainability, provide learning experiences and enable access to continuing professional development.

Now the chapter is one year old! Throughout this last year we have engaged with over 200 people via eight events. We have enjoyed seeing new partnerships emerge, friendships made and valuable information shared!

Join us to help celebrate our first birthday and hear from those involved in the network. They will inspire you by demonstrating how making new connections can boost your career - and drive sustainable change in our city!

Our speakers:

Jessica Ferrow, Chair of Net Impact Bristol: Jessica will detail what she has learned from running the network for the past year, and share insights into how this voluntary role has been fundamental in helping her secure her next career adventure – an MBA in Sustainable Business in California!

Wren Aigaki-Lander: Wren, a specialist in sustainable business, will speak about her experiences with Net Impact in the UK, Spain and America. She will also detail her work with B Corporation, a global sustainability standard for businesses, and the community it has created.

We will also be outlining opportunities to get involved with the network in the coming year, which could help you gain new connections and develop your skills.

We will finish with networking (or just chatting), drinks and delicious locally-sourced food to celebrate our first birthday in style.

We hope to see you there to begin our second year on a great note!
