"The Sustainable City of the Future"

Date: March 2, 2015 @ 17:30.
Location: Room 1.20 at CBS, Råvarebygningen, Porcelænshaven 22, Frederiksberg

This is an open event. Invite a spouse/partner/friend who would like to hear more about Sustainable Cities and Scandinavia’s largest and most ambitious urban development project to date. Sign up is not required in advance.

The CBS MBA Net Impact group is pleased to host Rune Boserup from COBE who will speak about sustainable cities and specifically the Nordhavnen project here in Copenhagen. Nordhaven is probably the most extensive and most ambitious metropolis development project in Scandinavia in the years to come.

Nordhavnen will be a district of small islets close to the waterfront and a diverse, mixed city with room for everyone. As an urban development project, Nordhavnen spearheads efforts to improve climate conditions and show how cities can help reverse climate change without losing out on quality of life, welfare and democracy. The new district will be developed over the next forty to fifty years.
