FULL BIO:
Mary is the Director of Strategy Planning and Implementation for the International Rescue Committee, which supports vulnerable populations across the global arc of humanitarian crises. She has held previous roles with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, T-Mobile USA, and Amplify Education.
Mary began her career supporting innovative technology products in the private sector, and has worked across sectors operationalizing projects that deliver on the ambitions of large global corporations, small and medium-sized INGOs, and tiny non-profits. She has had the pleasure of delivering the first picture-message and Android phone, and seeing vulnerable kids’ eyes light up because they get to go to English class. She has lived, worked, or studied in 7 countries on 6 continents.
As a Global Justice Fellow alum with the American Jewish World Service, she focused on advocacy to end violence against women worldwide, and is a current member of the Board of Trustees for MindLeaps, an INGO using dance to ready street children for success in school or work. She is a proud alumnus of the George Washington University School of Business Global MBA Program, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Santa Clara University.
