"From Belgium to Columbus, GA: A Journey of Personal and Professional Growth" - Marc Olivié has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of the W.C. Bradley Co. since November 2008. Previously, Marc served as the Executive Director, Corporate Development, of Sara Lee Corporation in Chicago, Illinois, Paris, France, and Utrecht, The Netherlands; President of Sara Lee Champion Europe, Florence, Italy; President and CEO of Armstrong Building Products and of Armstrong Flooring, Lancaster, Pennsylvania; President of Global Bath and Kitchen, American Standard Companies, Inc., Piscataway, New Jersey; and CEO and President of the Agfa-Gevaert Group, Mortsel, Belgium.

Earlier in his career, he worked for Ernst Peiniger GmbH in Europe and the Middle East, and was a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Company in Düsseldorf, Germany, and Chicago, Illinois. A native of Belgium, Marc graduated from the University of Antwerp in Belgium, with a M.S. degree in Business Management/Engineering. Marc serves on the Board of Directors of MasterCard Worldwide based in Purchase, New York, and is a member of the MasterCard Board’s Audit Committee and the Human Resources and Compensation Committee. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Columbus State University Foundation; the Board of Directors of the Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce; and Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson’s Passenger Rail Commission.

Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from "building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible leadership."
