"A Better Way to Play - The Intersection of Sports and Sustainability" - Scott graduated from UW-Madison in Construction management and has worked in major sports stadiums including Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks, and Milwaukee Brewers and was recently hired onto be the general manager for the new Atlanta Stadium scheduled to open in 2017. Scott is also the chairman for a nonprofit venture called Green Sports Alliance. This group is working to create green partnerships and engaging the fans to reinforce the green initiatives. Scott was brought to the new stadium under the initiative to make the new Atlanta falcon stadium as a sustainable building not only for the team but for the neighborhood the stadium is moving too. The green initiatives are not only saving material and creating sustainable efforts but saving money as well. Scott introduces a value proposition for all sporting institutes Value proposition of a better way to play: Bottom line savings, Corporate partnerships, Brand value, Fulfill our social responsibility, Improve environmental performance, Influence cultures and Zero waste. Scott wanted more question based lecture. He answered questions about the greening efforts of the parking lot, and tail-gaters.
