A formal one day gathering that had students, business leaders, activists, administrative officers of the city and teachers. We introduced Net Impact, its objectives and a brief on its agenda for the year 2015.

We set our goal of promoting and creating awareness about sustainable development in all the aspects of life. The focus was to empower women through promotion of gender equality, employment opportunities for them and their financial independence. We collaborated with Nannhi Chaaun, the NGO that works to protect and nurture the girl child.

Also how we had a quick session on Innovation & sustainability. How one can work selflessly, apply our learning to save the environment, was demonstrated by Ankit. The students were motivated with his innovative ideas.

A brief on the upcoming workshop on design thinking was given by Pratik Chandwani. The workshop is planned in May 2015.

An overwhelming response came our way; when the administrative officers of Kanpur showed their interest to join us and be a part of the Net Impact Kanpur.
