Andy Daly, Head of Operations at Shaftesbury Partnership, a social business intermediary will talk about how large companies can use their scale to benefit society. He will be looking at what it means to do good through business, discussing the impact companies have as employers, as providers and as purchasers. Andy will draw from his experience at Shaftesbury Partnership and managing Social Business Partnership, a specialist brokerage service that works with large organizations to build a more responsible and impactful supply chain. He will reflect on the achievements, challenges and lessons learned. We hope to spark a stimulating discussion throughout the event.
Andy has a dual role with The Shaftesbury Partnership. He is Head of Operations, and he also manages one of the organization’s ventures: Social Business Partnership.
Andy has a background in education management and international development, and counts School for Social Entrepreneurs and HCT Group among his previous employers. He is a Fellow (alumnus) of On Purpose UK, a one-year leadership programme for professionals who want to transition into social enterprise, and he has a degree in Economics and an MSc in International Development from the London School of Economics.
