Anna Walkowiak, VP innovation and Development at Recyc-Quebec

Ms. Walkowiak explained how waste is managed in Quebec, the Role of Recyc-Quebec in coordinating the recycling efforts and where they would like to be in the future. It is a field that requires entrepreneurial minds. She also made a point that anyone with a desire to work in sustainability should visit a recycling center.

All the participants became more mindful of recycling and began talking about waste as a business opportunity. The 2015 team is working on a visit to a sorting center.
