The desperate need for social justice work has come to the forefront of our country. We have witnessed and played part to the growing disparities in racial equity, and movements like Black Lives Matter have called it out and demand action. But where do we begin? What truths and hopes have been revealed in our divided cities over the past year? To move forward, we must have open, honest, and vulnerable conversations in our communities that address our current state and lead us to metamorphose.

As we build toward the 2016 CSRB Conference on March 11, Building Vibrant Communities: Prosperity, Community Capital, and Social Justice, we ask that you join us for a World Café style CSRBrunch on “Unpacking Social Justice” on Saturday, September 19, at 10:00 am. Designed as a forum for collaborative dialogue where there is no predetermined answer or solution, World Café’s focus on exploring and innovating on themes rather than on problem-solving that evokes dialogic learning and collective intelligence.
