About this event:
Bring your ideas to collaborate on community resilience initiatives. This event will feature a panel of experts to identify needs and opportunities to empower you to create everyday community resilience.
The panel portion of the event will feature a conversation to highlight best practices and successful partnership programs that strengthen local communities within post-disaster areas. Our experts will also discuss the disproportionate effect on vulnerable populations [i.e. low income, elderly, etc.] and offer solutions on how government, business, and nonprofit organizations can collaborate to meet their needs, both before and after disasters.
Don't forget your business cards! The proceeding networking session will allow attendees in all areas of expertise [i.e. operations, programs, analytics, finance, etc.] to exchange needs and resources to further grow each other's initiative and create a local community resilience movement.
