Our Guest, Jennifer McKaig, Culture & Engagement Strategist at Etsy

Jennifer McKaig works on the Culture and Engagement Team at Etsy. The Culture and Engagement team builds global infrastructure that enables and energizes employees to connect with their personal potential, one another, the community, and the company mission.

She has also worked on Etsy’s Values & Impact team, helping implement and integrate brand stewardship and social responsibility programs into every part of the business. There she led the initiative that produced Etsy’s B Corp Certification, a certification for companies that use the power of business to solve social and environmental problems.

Before joining Etsy, she managed group homes for individuals with psychiatric disorders and intellectual disabilities in south Brooklyn. She has also served as a Family Advocate to victims of sexual crimes and provided group counseling to court appointed clients.
She holds an MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University.
