The FinTech@Kellogg and Net Impact Club are excited to invite Maelis Carraro and Jane del Ser to speak via webcast about the intersection of tech, social impact, and business. Maelis and Jane work at BFA Global, a global consulting firm focused on providing financial services to low-income populations. At BFA, Maelis works on developing business cases for alternative financial delivery channels for low-income populations while Jane leads their marketing and communications work.

Together they manage the Catalyst Fund, an innovative fintech fund supporting early stage startups in the inclusive fintech space with grant capital, mentorship, and business advisory services. In addition to the support provided to FinTech entrepreneurs, Maelis serves as the mediator between the Catalyst Fund partners such as funders (Gates Foundation), banks (JPMorgan Chase & Co.), impact investors (Omidyar Network, 500 Startups, etc.), and nonprofits (Accion). Over the life of the program, the Catalyst Fund will support 20 fintech startups with approximately $2 million in grant capital in addition to pro-bono advisory and mentoring services.
