The Kiva Case Competition hosted by the Penn State Finance Society collaborated with Penn State Net Impact. The Kiva Case Competition allows individuals to lend money via the Internet to low-income / underserved entrepreneurs and students in over 70 countries. There were multiple teams from both Penn State Finance Society and Penn State Net Impact that worked together to brainstorm the best individual to invest in, they later pitched their ideas to a panel - and the winning team were able to actually donate their winnings to the Kiva investment they pitched to the panel!
