KPMG has taken this message to heart, and pledged the firm’s commitment to improving the quality of education for children in low-income families, through its partnership with the national nonprofit organization, First Book. In an effort to support this cause locally, KPMG is co-hosting with Penn State Net Impact and Beta Alpha Psi, an afternoon of service at Penn’s Valley Elementary School on Friday, February 28th. During the day of service, we’ll have the chance to change the lives of nearly 200 students.
Please join us for this special day, which will kickoff at 11:30 AM with lunch and volunteer instructions. Specific details for the day are as follows:

Who: KPMG recruiters and professionals, as well as members of Net Impact and Beta Alpha Psi
When: Friday, February 28th 11:30 AM – approximately 2:30 PM.
Where: 214 Business Building & Penn’s Valley Elementary School (transportation to be provided)
What: Lunch, tee shirt and volunteer opportunity provided
Why: Great opportunity to connect with members of your organizations and KPMG, while serving your community

Event timeline:
At 11:30 am - 12:20 pm KPMG will be having a Panera Bread Luncheon at 214 Business Building where they will be giving out KPMG volunteering shirts; a great time to speak with the KPMG professionals.
At 12:30 pm, the KPMG sponsored Fullington Bus will be departing from Business Building to the Penns Valley Elementary School.
At 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm, we will volunteer our time with the elementary kids and KPMG will donate $1,000 worth of books to provide each kid with two books.
At 2:30 pm, we will head back to Business Building.
