More and more, professionals want to contribute their skills to volunteering opportunities that make an impact. Skills-based volunteering is increasingly popular, but 54% of nonprofits will not be able to meet the demand for professional services help this year. Where is the disconnect?

For individuals, it is likely the “missed connection:” individuals who want to volunteer, and nonprofits who need skilled volunteers, may not get a chance to meet. For companies, enabling employees to do pro bono services can be limited by the need for effective project management to ensure quality results for community partners.

This panel discussion will address how tech platforms for volunteering can help.

Refreshments and light food will be provided.

If cost is a barrier to you, please contact the SFTech4Good organizers using this link: http://www.meetup.com/sfnetsquared/suggestion/

All event proceeds after fees will be donated to a 501c3 nonprofit.
