Tired of the endless parade of snow this month? In need of some quality time with your fellow students, to stay inspired and motivated to learn?

Join the Net Impact team at Simmons for some pizza, good conversation, and absolutely no shoveling whatsoever! We are hosting a social gathering on the second floor of the SOM building this Wednesday, February 11, and look forward to seeing you there.

I'm too tired for that, you say? Well, we can help! We will be sharing information on several volunteer opportunities to get involved with Net Impact this semester - and did you know that recent studies suggest people who volunteer have "lower mortality rates, greater functional ability, and lower rates of depression later in life than those who do not volunteer"? (http://www.nationalservice.gov/serve-your-community/benefits-volunteering)

And if that's not enough, we will be offering pizza - a food which has also been proven to lengthen the lifespan - well, maybe not, but it's delicious! We on the Net Impact leadership team hope to see you for some mid-winter happiness this Wednesday! If you can't make it this time, no worries - send us your email address, and we will keep you posted with upcoming events.
