This event featured a keynote speaker, Dan N. Smith. Dan is the Education Outreach and Community Development Coordinator for the Friendship Train Foundation. He is an accomplished environmental educator and was trained by the Hon. Al Gore in 2007 and has educated the public on our changing climate, green technologies, and systems thinking for many years.

There were also interactive booths and exhibits hosted by numerous on and off campus organizations, including our chapter of Net Impact, to educate the community more about going green and bringing environmental sustainability topics into the classroom!

Our chapter created an interactive booth educating the community about responsible shopping, teaching about B-Corp certification, Rainforest Alliance, Fair Trade, and USDA Organic labeling and certification. We also did demonstrations of the Good Guide app, http://www.goodguide.com. Additionally, we demonstrated the fourth sector of the economy in which business work for profit and purpose.

Also free food and music!
