Join us in Mugar 231 at Tufts' Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy for light food and the stories of three female entrepreneurs creating social and environmental impact - and fun! - in the Somerville local community:

Jessie Banhazl of Green City Growers makes Boston a healthier, more beautiful place to live. She establishes and services urban farms on the rooftops of groceries, schools, and most notably, Fenway Park - teaching citizens about locally sourced food and hosting DIY workshops, as well.

Jillian D'Amato of Runfellow sells running gear with motivational messaging, like "I like your pace." In addition to bringing more friendliness to an already amiable sport, Runfellow builds community and encourages citizens to explore their local surroundings by hosting a group run at rotating locations throughout the city each week.

Jennifer Lawrence of 3 Graces Productions brings people together for memorable events with purpose. Some of her upcoming projects include Trash Bash - Somerville's 3rd annual recycled art show - and Giving Tuesday - an event designed to raise awareness and funds for Somerville's most notable charities and public causes.
