Our group went to several eateries around campus and cleaned out recycling bins of glassware and plastic bottles. We re-used the glassware as water bottles for students around campus versus buying a plastic water bottle. We use the plastic in planting succulents in our other event. The dumpster dive gave us an awareness of what people are throwing out.
