This is the first event of the new year in an ongoing series that the USC Graduate Chapter of Net Impact hosts to highlight sustainable practices of local businesses.

Last semester we visited City Roots, an urban farm just a few miles from campus. We were provided a tour and nibbled on fresh, organic, local arugula and mint as we meandered through the interesting infrastructure of the farm learning about the net impact they are having in the community, and we met their chickens!

Our 2015 kickoff event will be held at Craft and Draft. Craft and Draft, just a few blocks from campus, is locally owned and operated and strives to source a great deal of its offerings from nearby breweries. The owners have graciously offered to host our group from 5 -7 on February 18th. They will also have a few great drink specials just for us.
