Net Impact at Darden

Net Impact’s mission is to inspire, educate, and equip individuals to use the power of business to create a more socially and environmentally sustainable world. We support students in their efforts to seek impact related careers in a wide variety of fields and industries, such as nonprofit management, international development, environmental sustainability, and impact investing. Our annual programming includes: • Career Support: We provide one-on-one guidance for each club member according to his or her specific interests. We also arrange for monthly Making a Path sessions that support student throughout the various stages of the recruitment cycle, including resume/cover letter review and interview prep. • Speakers: We arrange for speakers from a variety of fields to visit Darden and share their stories. • Board Fellows Program: Through this program, students have the opportunity to shadow the board of a local nonprofit organization and learn about board governance. • Business in Society Conference: In partnership with the Institute for Business in Society and our sister clubs, we facilitate and host an annual conference to discuss thought leadership. • Net Impact Conference: We support students as they prepare for and attend the Net Impact Conference, hosted each year by our parent organization. With thousands of attendees, this annual conference facilitates workshops, keynote addresses, and a career expo with members of the Net Impact network. We would love to hear from you!
