The Social Innovation Summit is a cross-disciplinary gathering of students and faculty members who are passionate about entrepreneurship and social innovation. The summit, themed on the collaborative economy, will involve: a keynote; a round of four concurrent faculty-led break-out sessions – facilitated workshop-style discussions on concepts like the Design University and 3D Printing Outside the Box; lunch; and a design thinking challenge on the idea of “the collaborative university” – ways that we can share resources and innovate within the U.Va. ecosystem.
