Free Webinar: Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership at Harvard

“This is an amazing webinar (and no doubt great course) that would be useful for anyone who faces a silo style organizational challenge, and is an easy, social, and progressive way to introduce upper management to such. I would guess that 99% of anyone in management would benefit from this course. 1% can never change, but anyone else, after the webinar, can actually see this happening - the two styles crashing into each other, the young new style and the old.”

--- Grant Belau, President, Invest Green Inc., Net Impact Edmonton Chapter

Join us for a free webinar introducing our new Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership programming offered through the Center For Health and the Global Environment (CHGE) at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Our next one will be held this coming Thursday, April 2nd from 4-5pm EST. Register at http://www.chgeharvard.org/about-this-program/free-informational-webinar.

During this virtual session, Leith Sharp, Director of Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership at CHGE, will present in detail about our 4-day residential Executive Education programs, including the core concepts, program design and admissions process. We will present our world-class faculty roster, which includes:

--- Harvard Business School’s Amy Edmondson, author of Teaming: How Organizations Learn, Innovate, and Compete in the Knowledge Economy
--- Cindy Ortega, Senior Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer, MGM Resorts International
--- Abha Joshi-Ghani, Director, Knowledge Exchange and Learning at the World Bank

We will then answer questions from prospective applicants or from those interested in promoting this program to senior leaders within their organizations and networks.

We see these Executive Education offerings as a powerful forum for advancing the vision and capabilities of senior leaders to go beyond positioning sustainability as an add-on, facing a slow incremental death, to positioning sustainability as a driver for deep organizational transformation and we invite you to attend a webinar to learn more about what this could mean for you and your organization. Here are a few sentiments from past Exec Ed program participants:

“The program provides an important framework for thinking about, and effecting change in a rapidly changing and socially connected environment.”
-- Cindy Ortega, Senior Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer, MGM Resorts International

“This program delivered a critical missing piece for me around change leadership and sustainability. As a result I left with a renewed enthusiasm and commitment that has persisted.”
-- Jerry Weber, President, College of Lake County

“This experience is like a controlled substance. It will blow your mind! Very enriching, validating to my intuition, clarified my thinking, elevated my energy and expanded my vision.”
--- Elizabeth Heider, Chief Sustainability Officer, Skanska USA

The webinar is also a standalone resource in its own right, as we focus heavily on the frameworks for organizational transformation with great implications for sustainability, a framework we call Core Business Integration of Sustainability.
