Leadership Lessons: Corporate Social Responsibility and Civic Engagement to Empower Communities

Join the Washington D.C. Chapter of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA-DC) on April 18th for our third Leadership Lessons Forum: Corporate Social Responsibility and Civic Engagement to Empower Communities.

When a business professional consistently devotes time and resources to being more civically engaged, particularly in a community of predominantly disenfranchised individuals with cultural similarities, the impact can be profound for that community. When that effort of civic engagement becomes the norm– the expectation for every person, business, and organization -  everyone in that community can achieve equal access to opportunities at greater wealth and prosperity.

In recognition of National Community Service Month, this event will focus on corporate social responsibility and civic engagement within the Black community.

Our distinguished panel of experts will tackle corporate social responsibility and civic engagement as it pertains to the Black community; exploring everything from the history of economic and social empowerment efforts lead by Black professionals to innovative ways corporations and Black business leaders can tackle issues negatively impacting African-Americans.
