Mentor Capital Network's Annual Gathering - Social Entrepreneurs, Impact Investors, and Socent Experts
The Mentor Capital Network (MCN), formerly known as the William James Foundation, will be teaming up with the United Nations Office for Partnerships to host our 2015 Sustainable Business Plan Competition finalists at the United Nations in New York City on July 9-10, 2015.
MCN identifies and supports entrepreneurs who are building mission-driven companies for the long-term; creating truly sustainable business models that support the UN's Global Development Goals. We achieve this through a Business Plan Competition for Sustainable Businesses which provides business plan feedback, mentorship, promotion and prizes to the entrepreneurs participating, as well as elite access to an investment pipeline for our investors.
The Annual Gathering will feature
Presentations by the top teams in our 2015 Sustainable Business Plan Competition
Keynote speech from Paul Saginaw, Zingerman's Co-Owner and Founding Partner
Investor Events where companies will pitch for funding on the spot
Feedback sessions, where MCN mentors and entrepreneurs will present their challenges to an audience of experts
Presentations from more than two dozen social entrepreneurs from around the world
Networking sessions with entrepreneurs from around the world
The fee to attend the conference ranges from $50 to $300.

IMPORTANT: All registration ends on July 2 as MCN must have your name a week ahead of the conference to give to the UN. This is a UN security mandate.
VOLUNTEER
We are currently seeking volunteers to help with logistics on the days of the event. Volunteers are required to give four hours of their time each day that they are volunteering. Volunteers are welcome to stay for the rest of the day(s) that they volunteer for free.
