Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion

Key Focus Area: Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion

“We will actively work to ensure that our community is lifting up the underrepresented, listening to the unheard, and standing beside one another in solidarity towards a more just future.” - Peter Lupoff, CEO of Net Impact

The existing systems in our country have allowed the acceptance of the status quo, leading to far too many decisions, activities, meetings, and events where Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) are underrepresented. To create an equitable society, we must commit to making unbiased choices and being anti-racist in all aspects of our lives.

At Net Impact, we understand the importance of equity and inclusion. Encouraging social diversity is fundamental to how we organize our chapter communities, choose the organizations we partner with, and plan the events we participate in. We purposely build our programs to diversify our student and professional chapters and engage students on college campuses on the topics of racial equity and bias. Additionally, we proudly collaborate with our Net Impact Black Professional Chapter to establish relationships, identify and inspire meaningful actions that enable Net Impact and other businesses, agencies, and institutions to truly become anti-racist.
